NEW TIGER ELECTRONICS handhelds are now in-stock at Amazon & GameStop: Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

 This blog has been dead... but I wanted to come back to it. I apologize if I haven't been using it. I don't have that many followers (maybe 1 or 2) and Blogger might be a dead site. I'm mostly active on social media, but I will explain everything in a separate post and if I will ever come back to this blog in the future.

Anyways, if you don't know what Tiger Handhelds are, they are little LCDs made by Tiger Electronics back in the 90's. They would just take a franchise and just turn it into a low effort video game console thingy. Yeah, I know that people say that these things are awful, but I love these things growing up. 

The very first one that got me exposed to these things was the MMPR one:

I remember playing it at my cousin's house and didn't know what I was doing. But boy, I was hooked. Then, I kinda forgot about them until last year, when I was in high school. My 4th period teacher was giving away some stuff and she had 3 LCD handheld games (a baseball one, a game of Perfection (which isn't a Tiger Game), and some driving game which barely worked). Then I was watching an episode of AVGN (I believe it was the Mortal Kombat one; I forgot) and he mentioned that Hasbro was bringing back these things. And I screamed. On my b-day, mom got me the Little Mermaid and Transformers Gen 2 from GameStop (my mom looked me at disgust when I told her I wanted these things) and I purchased the Sonic 3 and X-Men one myself.

Anyways, sorry for that long story. But fast-forward to now, I noticed that GameStop and Amazon has 3 new Tiger Handhelds and one of them was the one from my childhood: the same Power Rangers one I played at my cousin's house. But it wasn't in stock when I checked... until now (today!). 

The new Tiger Handhelds Hasbro released are:

-Jurassic Park

-Spider-Man

-Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

According to a source, this is a wave 2 thing. I don't know if Hasbro will ever do a wave 3 or more Tiger Handhelds in the future. I wish they brought back the Space Jam one, since they are making toys for the upcoming sequel, but you can play it on an emulator: https://archive.org/details/hh_tsjam

I noticed that a couple of sources mention the JP game and there are less sources talking about the MMPR one, but no sources for the Spider-Man game, so I wanted to share here on my blog, if you guys are interested in purchasing (maybe not lol). It seems that GameStop and Amazon has all 3 in stock, so buy them if you can! I will link them below.
